Piggy’s DT-1 stretches out at the Oregon Raceway Park
Despite some sideways glances and raised eyebrows at the tech inspection, Piggy took his Yamaha DT-1 were let out onto Oregon Raceway Park for a shake-down session on a recent track-day. The bike ran like a champ and a good time was had by all except for the dude on the new R1 that got passed on the inside by a 1970 Yamaha 250 two-stroke. Wow…I have a 1977 DT250 with a bassani down pipe and these bike handle surprisingly well. My DT and RD350 was the best handling bikes I’ve ever owned.
